At Groups, our work changes lives. It strengthens communities, breaks down stigma, and helps redefine what recovery can look like.
Why Groups
Since 2014, Groups has helped hundreds of thousands of people reclaim their lives from addiction. We do it through a harm-reduction model — stigma-free, evidence-based, and grounded in the belief that recovery happens in community. That same philosophy extends to how we treat our team.
We value diversity in all its forms. We’re a community that shows up for members and for each other. And we’re growing — which means real opportunities for the people who grow with us!
Our Values
- Excellence: We do the best thing.
- Progress: We do the next thing.
- Integrity: We do the right thing.
- Compassion: We do the hard thing.
- Community: We do the thing — together.
Real people. Changing lives.
Testimonials
- Bryan, Counselor: "Since I've been here, I've had two promotions, and the support I've received delivering services has been unparalleled."
- Aubrey, Operations Director: "Growth at Groups is very real. It's not always linear or immediate — but we have leaders who genuinely invest in you, challenge you, and encourage you to step outside your comfort zone. From office manager in 2018 to Operations Director in 2026, I'm a prime example of what that can look like."
- April, Counselor and Clinical Bridge Trainer: "I went through the Clinical Bridge Program, and now I'm the one training the next generation. Groups didn't just give me a job — they gave me a career trajectory I didn't think was possible this quickly."
Our Hiring Process
Here’s what to expect
- Apply: Apply to the role that best matches your experience and career interests.
- Talent Review & Skills Assessment: Our Talent Acquisition team reviews your resume and, for clinical roles, validates your credentials. Qualified candidates receive a short digital assessment, which takes about 15 minutes and is designed to help us understand your strengths.
- Hiring Manager & Team Interview: If there’s a potential match, a hiring manager will reach out to set up a conversation. You’ll learn more about the role, ask real questions, and get real answers.
- Offer & Onboarding: If selected, you'll receive an offer. Once you accept, we’ll run a reference and background check.
You have questions, we have answers
- I applied. What happens next? A recruiter will review your application and reach out within a few business days.
- What does the interview process look like? After you apply, our Talent Acquisition team reviews your application and may send a short digital skills assessment. From there, it's a hiring manager interview, a panel interview, and then an offer.
- Do you offer tuition reimbursement or help with certifications? Yes. Benefit-eligible team members receive 40 paid hours and $500 annually toward career training, certifications, and license fees.
- What benefits are available? Benefit-eligible employees are W2 employees working 30 or more hours per week.
- Do you hire 1099s? We offer 1099 arrangements for medical roles only.
Recovery is possible. And so is a career you’re proud of.
